After tata docomo and Reliance communications ,Aircel is shutting down its down services. As per the reports the company has a loan of around rs 20,000 crore and suffering from financial crisis. And the company is going to end its telecom service in 6 big circles of India.
Telecom marketing is getting more competitive after the arrival of jio. Many service operates have merged to stay in the market while some others have to shut down. Recently reliance released a statement where it’s mentioned that the company will end its service and users can port their sim into any network.
It’s quite interesting to see the big changes in the telecom market before 2018. After reliance, tata docomo also took forward steps towards shutting down its service. Now it’s the time for aircel to shut down its service.
Aircel will end its service in 6 big circles in india. West uttar pradesh,Gujarat,Haryana,Madhya Pradesh,Maharastra and himachal pradesh comes under these 6 circles. According to a court order the comoany can not its sell 2G or 3G spectrum and aircel doesn’t have 4G spectrum. While the market is going towards 4G aircel has no 4G service in its network.
Previously the company planned to tie up Reliance communications to merge their service together. But later for reasons their agreement was cancelled. And the cancellation leads aircel towards shutting down its services. The company currently has around 90 million subscribers in its network. And Very soon Aircel will relase official statement about the closure of its service and will notify its subscribers. Millions of subscribers are going to be effected by this sudden decision towards ending its service.
