After the Samsung Galaxy J8, recently Samsung Galaxy J8+ having Model Number SM-J805G has been listed on the bench marking website GeekBench. The listing suggests that Samsung Galaxy J8+ will be powered by a Qualcomm SoC unlikely the Galaxy J8 which is expected to feature Exynos SoC.
Samsung Galaxy J8+ expected specifications –
According to the GeekBench Listing, this Samsung Galaxy J8+ will be powered by a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor (Cortex-A53 CPU). Moreover this device will come with 4 GB RAM, where user would get around 3491 MB of free ram. Samsung Galaxy J8 plus would come with Android Oreo 8.0.0 based on Samsung’s TouchWiz custom skin layer.
The RAM and Processor is superior when compared to the previous J8 which has 3 GB RAM and Exynos 7870 processor. So there would be slight difference in its performance.
However as per rumors, the device could feature a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. Apart from this, it terms of camera it could have up to 16-megapixel sensors for both front and rear camera setups, or 8-megapixel sensors each embedded in a dual camera module. But this are not confirmed, so take these as a pinch of salt over the upcoming rumors.
Samsung Galaxy J8+ achieved a score of 749 in single core performance and 3708 in multi score performance. Which is little higher than the J8, that scored 728 in single-core performance and 3683 in multi-core performance.
