While whatsapp is working to implement new features on its platform, today a Reply in Private feature was spotted on the beta version of whatsapp windows app. This Reply Privately feature of whatsapp allows a users to send private message to a group member without letting others group member know about it. This feature is in development and it will be soon rolled out on whatsapp general version.
Via tweet @WABetainfo said, by mistake the developers enabled this feature on the whatsapp beta version. Right after this, this feature was disabled by the developers. They’ve told it will be enabled again in the upcoming update.
In the new WhatsApp beta for Windows Phone 2.17.344 the private reply feature is disabled.
Probably WhatsApp has wrongly enabled it in 2.17.342.

Whatsapp beta windows phone version 2.17.336 and 2.17.342 also got some new feature like new caller UI design, private replies, switch to video calls and advanced group setting. The reply privately feature was enabled wrongly for whatsapp version 2.17.342,and it got disabled for the same. And again through a tweet @WABetainfo informed that the reply in private feature is back again in whatsapp beta version 2.17.348 update.
While there is no news about when android or iPhone users will get this feature. Still we can expect to get this new feature in our android / iOS devices soon.
